When the Mind Goes Quiet

I have written through many of my old thoughts. Perhaps the next phase is not about writing more, but living, learning and giving new ideas time to emerge.

Something unusual has happened to my writing.

I don’t feel an impulse to write.

Usually, my mind is bubbling with some idea. I keep thinking about it, turning it around, connecting it with something else, until eventually I want to put it on a blank page.

Today, my mind feels quiet.

Strangely, I like it.

Perhaps I have finally written through many of the things that had occupied my mind for years. If so, this emptiness is not necessarily a problem. It creates space.

Now I can learn something new. I can experiment. I can experience things before I write about them.

My 6 Pack Project has slowly become the centre of this process. Other things are beginning to grow around it.

But I am afraid of one thing: growth is slow.

Do I have enough patience to stay with something long enough to see its results?

This question matters because I have gone through periods of enthusiasm before. I have started many things. What feels different this time is the steadiness.

I am now in the second month of my health experiment. My previous best was around three months of consecutive workouts. One more month will bring me close to that mark. Six months of sustained effort would be something I have never done before.

I cannot claim that I have discovered the best way to transform my health.

I can only say something simpler:

This is working.

And that is enough reason to continue.

From health to wealth

There is another change happening.

I am getting tired of perpetual growth without visible outcomes. I want to see results. And increasingly, the result I am impatient for is not physical. It is financial.

Perhaps this is happening because exercise is slowly becoming a normal part of my life. The health problem no longer feels completely chaotic. There is a structure around it.

My attention is therefore moving toward the next problem: wealth.

This territory feels different.

I have transformed physically before. I have evidence that my body can change. But I have never experienced the same sense of abundance with money.

And I am beginning to see what may become one of my biggest obstacles.

It is not necessarily a lack of ideas.

It is emotional turbulence.

When circumstances shake me, my confidence in myself also gets shaken. That is dangerous because building anything worthwhile requires staying in the game long enough for small efforts to accumulate.

That may be the real challenge ahead.

Not finding the perfect business idea.

Not discovering some secret formula.

But remaining steady while the results are still invisible.

Protect the momentum

Something is working in my life right now.

It is still small. It is still fragile. And the results are nowhere near where I want them to be.

But there is momentum.

I am working on my health. I am studying marketing. I am experimenting. I am writing. I am slowly building things around the 6 Pack Project.

I don’t need to force another dramatic transformation.

I need to protect what is already growing.

Perhaps even this quietness in my writing is part of that process. I can go back into the world, learn, experiment and return when I have something worth writing about.

There will be periods of excitement and periods of silence.

There will be confidence and doubt.

There will be visible progress and long stretches where nothing seems to happen.

My job is simpler than all of that:

Continue.

I am on the right path.

For now, that is enough.
